Designing and manufacturing a diamond viewer for De Beers Forevermark
De Beers Forevermark approached us with an early-stage concept for a diamond viewer – a device to help jewellers accurately identify the Forevermark serial inscription on their diamonds. They needed a partner with experience in contract manufacturing, precision engineering, and scale-up production.
Starting from a paper concept, we managed the full development process:
- Product design and engineering
- Prototyping and functional testing
- Full-scale manufacturing
We worked closely with Forevermark to refine the viewer for use in high-end jewellery retail, focusing on magnification accuracy and ease of use. The final product meets the practical needs of expert jewellers, delivering clarity and precision during inspections.
Following a successful first order, Forevermark expanded distribution globally. We continue to support them with contract manufacturing and ongoing improvements as requirements change.
